ILRI staff and visitors to the campuses in Nairobi and Addis Ababa can access a number of academic journals to support their work. We aim to make electronic subscriptions available to staff through their computers. Check the lists below to see what is accessible.
People on the main campuses can access e-journals via the list below or via Swetswise and click on the ‘IP authentication’ tab (we subscribe to some 200 titles directly or via the CGIAR Library consortium).
We ALSO have a collaborative agreement with KIT in the Netherlands to access many Elsevier titles on ScienceDirect [when you open a URL it will ask you to choose between an ILRI or a KIT 'identity'] and to search SCOPUS.
Through our membership of the Kenyan academic libraries network, we also have access to thousands of PERII e-resources on a wide range of science and social science topics.
Staff off-campus can access e-journals via this link http://ejournals.ilri.org/login using their usual ILRI username and password.
We also subscribe to a small number of print journals that can be read in the infocenters in Nairobi and Addis Ababa.
Through the consortium of CGIAR libraries, we offer a document delivery service for any articles that are needed from journals that we do not subscribe to ourselves. For more information contact Infocentre-kenya@cgiar.org.
